This worked so well. I worked two days and couldn’t get my 7970 going on trixbox. The part that changed it for me was your comment that newer versions of the firmware have had registration problems. That was it! I used the version you use in this tutorial and it works. I’m a little short on cash, otherwise I’d donate…Would you like my car, apartment, girlfriend in return?

I am wondering a little bit stumped on how to put the files on my trixbox server, as well as moving my files from my desktop to my phone using the TFTP program. you dont say in the video how to point the program at the phone. My phone doesnt seem to be doing anything. I am also wondering if setting up a dhcp server on trixbox is for the phones or the rest of my network. I am already running a dhcp server on IPCOP. Will that conflict with uploading the software to the phone or server?

The files are at the top of the page right above the video where it says downloads.

Does anyone have any idea on how to get a Cisco 7970 running SIP FIRMWARE to register with NET.COM VX900?
