Go to the Feature Codes module. Not sure why you would need to change that unless you want to use 7777 as an extension number

I need to create an ivr that requires, after selecting language to speak (1 for english, 2 for spanish) to input a pin#(check it from a db) then a serial#(check it from db) and then modify status in that db (check in or check out). How do I do this? The IVR structure is very simple only 4 levels (language – pin identification – work_order identification – check in/out )

Hi K, I followed your video to the letter I think but when I call in the recording never plays. All the ring groups ring. All the extensions show a missed call but I thought the recording would come up after the 1st couple rings and if someone pressed any of the numbers (1,2,3,4) in the IVR they would go to the proper ring group or extension. Am I thinking this wrong or am I doing something that keeps my Menu Recording from playing? I can send screen shots if that helps.

I'm having the same problem as the above user, The system recording is not playing and the user on the other phone does not know what to.. i.e. which keys to press. trixbox CE current release is 2.6.2.2
Anonymous on May 2nd, 2009 at 3:48 am #
How about if the caller doesn't press any key and hangs the phone? In my case, trixbox doesn't drop the session and the line keeps busy until the line turns to "Under Repair". No more possible incoming could ring phone again. Please help.

Same issue with the line being held for 30 to 45 seconds after a hang up?

Well done. This is the very first tutorial on Trixbox I’ve come across that explained how to do something like this in such detail. In addition, you really gave alot of insight into your thought process via the flow chart. Thank you very much!

With regard to the issue of the audio not playing: if you uploaded a wav file, this needs to be with the following attributes: alternativley, record from you phone. hope this helps.

Great video! What tools did you use to capture the screen and then convert to flash? The zone highlighting and smooth zooming in and out really look good.
