With regard to the issue of the audio not playing:

if you uploaded a wav file, this needs to be with the following attributes:
Bit Rate: 128
Audio Sample Size: 16 bit
Sample Rate: 8kHz

alternativley, record from you phone.

hope this helps.

Well done. This is the very first tutorial on Trixbox I've come across that explained how to do something like this in such detail. In addition, you really gave alot of insight into your thought process via the flow chart. Thank you very much!

How about if the caller doesn't press any key and hangs the phone? In my case, trixbox doesn't drop the session and the line keeps busy until the line turns to "Under Repair". No more possible incoming could ring phone again. Please help.

Hi K,

I followed your video to the letter I think but when I call in the recording never plays. All the ring groups ring. All the extensions show a missed call but I thought the recording would come up after the 1st couple rings and if someone pressed any of the numbers (1,2,3,4) in the IVR they would go to the proper ring group or extension.

Am I thinking this wrong or am I doing something that keeps my Menu Recording from playing?

I can send screen shots if that helps.
